German company Opel has unveiled details on the all-wheel drive system of hatchback Insignia Grand Sport new generation which world premiere took place last year. According to the representatives of the brand, this system designed specifically for the new car should make hatch more secure.

Updated Opel Insignia officially presented

Model Insignia Grand Sport new generation was officially presented by the automaker under the brand Vauxhall. The car under the Opel brand will not differ from the presented novelty. In North America, it will be sold as the Buick Regal, and in Australia, the car will have the name of Holden Commodore. Public presentation of the novelty will take place at the auto show in Geneva in the spring next year.

Opel Mokka has got a new engine

The German company Opel produced restyling crossover modification Mokka. The car got a new diesel engine, which ensures lower fuel consumption and reduce emissions. With the company stressed that the unit is fully compliant with Euro-6.
The basic version of the crossover is now equipped with a 1.6-liter diesel engine CDTI. Engine power is 110 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Up to 100 km / h model accelerates in 12.5 seconds. Fuel consumption trends – 4.3 liters per 100 kilometers.

Convertible Opel Cascada got a new engine

Opel presented the new 2.0-liter CDTI diesel engine for the convertible Cascada, which is already used on Insignia and Zafira Tourer. The power unit has a maximum output of 125 kW (170 hp) and maximum torque of 400 Nm. This is 3% more power and 14% more torque than its predecessor.

Opel has told about the Adaptive Forward Lighting of the new generation, which in the future may replace the function AFL +, used on the machines of the brand now. The novelty will allow adjusting the direction of the beam under the driver’s view.
