The second generation of Opel Vivaro goes on the market

Van Opel Vivaro is a real survivor in the family of light commercial cars: its first generation lasted as long as 13 years and during that time won hefty 10 % of the European market in its segment. In Rüsselsheim produced radically updated second generation with a bright appearance, a new line of fuel-efficient engines and a set of the most advanced technologies.

So, 2015 Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro that built on a common platform with the newly refurbished Renault Traffic differs with truly futuristic design: this angular “box” with giant spotlights, LED- inserts and lots of chrome on solid lattice does not get lost in any traffic. Incidentally, the basic brochure promises 11 colors available for no additional cost.

All four available engines – diesel engines with outputs from 90 to 140 horsepower, corresponding to Euro -6, and the most economical consumes just 5.7-liters per 100 kilometers; they are combined with a 6-speed manual. Set of options includes cruise control, speed limiter, rear view camera and parking assistant, ABS, EBD, brake assist enforcement, traction control, stabilization of the system from Bosch and more. Price list will be known closer to the beginning of sales (estimated in June), but now we can say that the basic configuration will be not much more than the price of the current generation (27 300 euro in Germany).
