Opel will gather “Buicks” for the U.S. in Germany

Opel Company will produce for the U.S. market Buick brand cars at a plant in Rüsselsheim, Germany, not far from Frankfurt. This writes Automotive News. Simultaneously with the announcement of the decision to build “Buick” in Germany, GM announced their intention to stop the export of Opel cars in China in January 2015. Models of this brand are almost no demand in China. In 2013, China sold 4.3 thousand “Opel” and 810,000 “Buick.”
