Opel showed a modernized version of the crossover Mokka

German SUV Opel Mokka received a fresh appearance, improved infotainment system and a new name. Opel plans to bring an updated version of Mokka crossover at the Geneva Motor Show, which will take place in March, which in addition to the upgraded equipment received an additional letter “X” in the name – now it’s Mokka X.

Previous modification of the urban crossover has become a real hit of Opel. Since the start of sales of the model in 2012, it was sold about 500,000 copies of the car. German brand management hopes that after updating the car will show even more striking results. What has changed in the Mokka apart appeared index “X”, which, by the way, is now decorating all Opel models with high cross? Firstly, crossover boasts of a refreshed design, inspired by the concepts Monza and GT. Inside of the novelty we can see deeply revised instrument panel and center console, which is decorated by a massive touch screen. In addition, IntelliLink infotainment system was updated as well.

Mokka power trains range remains the same. Opel only slightly modified the diesel engines to make them quieter. In the basic configuration Mokka X will be offered with a six-speed manual transmission, but for a fee you can set the “automatic” with the same number of gears.
