New budgetcar Opel will become related with Chevrolet Spark

Compact hatchback Opel, yet unnamed, will be based on the next-generation Chevrolet Spark. The Company plans to complete inexpensive citycar with a 3-cylinder petrol engine volume of 1.0-liter and manual transmission. Capacity of the power unit depending on the boost will be 90 or 115-hp, writes WCF. In the basic equipment enters the system Stop & Start, which allows the model to be one of the most economical cars among their classmates. It is assumed that Opel will present to motorists a competitor Volkswagen Up in late 2015 or early 2016-th. The cost model for the European market will not exceed € 8500.

During the current year, the German automaker will launch restyled version of the hatchback Corsa. It is known that in the range of engines will model at least one new engine – 3-cylinder petrol engine volume 1.0-liters SIDI. Masthead version of the machine will receive 200-horsepower gasoline engine with 1.6-liter turbo.
