Opel Karl Rocks debuted in Paris

With the new Opel Karl Rocks car manufacturer wants to appeal to customers who regularly travel around the city, but do not wish to use crossovers for daily trips. The novelty which debuted in Paris, a small 5-door hatchback boasted of increased by 18 mm ground clearance, compared with the standard model, and a sportier body with new bumpers, plastic body trim, silver accents along the side sills and 15-inch two-tone wheels.

Inside in fact the novelty looks like the same regular Karl, but exclusive fabric upholstery seats and infotainment system Radio R 4.0 with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available.

Opel says nothing about the power units, but the standard model is offered with a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with cylinder deactivation feature whose power is 74 hp (55 kW) and a torque is 95 Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Prices of Opel Karl Rocks have not been announced, but customers’ orders will be taken at the end of this year.
