Fastest Opel Corsa will gain its first hundred km in 6.8 seconds

Opel has extended the exact characteristics of the charged version of the Corsa hatchback last generation, the public which will premiere in March at the Geneva Motor Show. Hot-hatch is capable of accelerating from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in 6.8 seconds.
For comparison, the 180-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST is gaining “hundreds” of 6.9 seconds, 192-horsepower VW Polo GTI – 6.7 seconds, and the 200-horsepower Renault Clio RS and the Peugeot 208 GTi – 6.7 and 6 5 seconds.

The driver can choose from several modes of operation support systems. For example, under the regime of Competition Electronics disables traction control and reduce the degree of intervention in the management of the stabilization system. Finally, the possibility of completely disconnect ESP, “to experience the full potential of the hot hatch on the racetrack.”

Standard equipment includes the Corsa OPC brakes with 308-millimeter discs on the front axle, 17-inch alloy wheels with Michelin tires dimension 215/45.
For a surcharge, buyers will offer sports package Performance Package, which includes mechanical mono block Drexler on the front axle, Brembo brakes with 330-millimetriovymi front wheels and 18-inch wheels.
